One summer I was given a gourmet cheesecake cookbook as a gift, and thought maybe I can turn this into something serious. I started experimenting with my own recipes, using only the finest and freshest ingredients and my family and friends as taste testers of my product. For all of you that know me, know that my biggest supporter is my Mother "Ellen", who suggested I start a business. So In 2001 I decided to start a home based business and call it "The Detroit Cheesecake Company". We pride ourselves on producing the BEST cheesecakes in town. Each one of our Classic or Gourmet Cheesecakes are made from scratch in a "small batch" process with the finest and freshest ingredients, which makes us stand out from the rest.
